Happy New Year 2012

Hey there, peopLe. I am finalLy back after being m.i.a in the bLogGing worLd for months. So many things had happened over the last few months. One of the bigGest and important things is that I finalLy graduated ! . :) . Are you excited for me ? (".) WilL probabLy try to sQueEze some time to bLog about my graduation ceremony. To be honest, it was not exactLy how I imagined it to be, nonetheLesS I stilL think its fun on that very speciaL day. :)
So, how was your New Year ? (".) Where and how did you spent your New Year Eve ? (".) As for me, this is the first time I stay in AustraLia for so long during my sumMer hoLidays, hence this is aLso the first time in my life that I did not spend the New Year and aLso Christmas back in MaLaysia. Nothing out of the ordinary, I spent my New Year Eve watching fireworks but onLy this time it was at Brisbane. Something new I wouLd say and at least I got to spend it with my loved ones. :)

Happy MoOncake Fest.

dear readers,

!! ~ Happy MoOncake a.k.a Mid-autumn FestivaL ~ !!

" .. hope everyone gets to pLay with tangLungs and get to eat those yumMyLicious moOncakes and drink chinese tea . =p . and most importantLy enjoy 'em under the moOnLights with the famiLies . ;) .. "

" .. this is my 3rd year misSing out on this festivaL back in MaLaysia and realLy, there is not much or I can say, no moOncake festivaL ceLebration or 'feeL' at alL here in BrisSy . =( . but luckiLy, we stilL can get moOncakes from some of the bakeries and aLso Fortitude ValLey (Chinatown) over here . =) . so I had a rather busy day today . gave a presentation this morning to the lab members and I reaLized my presentation was pretty short & brief . haha . I like ! . pLus the lab members were so nice that I didn't get aLot of questions from them . probabLy because the report that I presented was so short and straightforward . I'm so reLieved that I finished this 2nd last presentation of the year because I can finalLy start focusing on writing my finaL thesis ! . o.O . so not loOking forward to it . =/ . but onLy 2 months left . I have to ganbateh and work hard for these last 2 months ! .. "

" .. and after the presentation, I went for a workshop that I registered for, titLed "SurvivaL SkilLs for Young Investigators" presented by Henry Sun . I like his lectures aLot and learnt aLot from today's workshop & wished that I had this particuLar workshop at the start of my Honours or probabLy during undergraduate years . its very usefuL and inspiring . I must say . :) . not regretting spending 9 - 4 pm (not doing any lab works today) sitting through his lectures and aLso the compLimentary foOd & cofFeE breaks were definiteLy a pLus point ! . ;) .. "

.. I just reaLized how much both of them had changed, I won't even try get into the changes that I observed in the guy because its gonNa be a super long post & time consuming & the last thing I want to do now is to waste so much time ranting . =p . simpLe & obvious changes in HER wouLd be that she adapts to his time / timetabLe / daiLy lifestyLe; she wouLd go extra miLe just for him and not for others anymore and when she said:"Lets go here or there together!", it actualLy means she is going at this day and this time regardLesS whether you are freE or not . leaving you back aLone (not literalLy) in the end if you are not freE on that partcuLar day that she wanted to go; and if you are freE, she then aLso ditches you just because you are with the bf . and this come to a point where if you are so afraid that she wouLd disturbed you and your bf (i.e. becoming the lamp post) . you wouLdn't have asked her to come aLong in the first pLace . right? . and whats her point of agreE-ing to go out together and then ditches you when you both are out? . might as welL don't agreE to go out with you . like giving you such a high hope that you couLd spend some quaLity time together but in the end making you felL so hard that you feLt so upset and didn't get to enjoy that outing . loL . and my point is, these things are actualLy kinda goOd for the both of them or the guy (he shouLd realLy feeL thankfuL to manage to change her so much or vice versa) but probabLy .. maybe .. I'm just disappointed with the changes that have afFected me . I guessed what you can say is LOVE IS BLIND and LOVE can change someone quite drasticalLy ! ..

.. I finalLy know how to make the dry noOdLe sauce . @ least it tasted the same as the normaL dry noOdLe taste instead of just the taste of soy sauce . ;) ..

Monday bLues . . .

I'm not that kind of person wouLd get Monday bLues but I just feLt soooooo tired and exhausted today . guessed thats what you get when you run two experiments together . its like I've drained alL the brain juices . and alL I want to do when I get home is to reLax and not do anything reLated to uni . Its Monday again today ! . initialLy thought SherLyn & I couLd start our experiment again today but we were struck with bad news from the supervisor again . saying that the neurons are not ready to be used yet . =( . bumMerrrrrr . another day sitting in the ofFice doing basicalLy nothing . not like nothing nothing . I did some work but I wouLd very much prefer lab work @ this stage . I'm starting to worry that I won't be abLe to finish the experiments on time & my Honours is doOmed . o.O . lets just pray hard that this experiment get going two days later and it wouLd produce goOd resuLt . *crosS finger* .. "

the housemate a.k.a SherLyn's birthday

" .. as for SherLyn's birthday this year, we went to this Thai restaurant in West End calLed Siam Samrarn . it was my first time there and the birthday girL and some of the others went there before . apparentLy it is quite new there & I think it has quite reasonably priced menu . quite liking the ambience toO . definiteLy a must go Thai restaurant in BrisSy . =) .. "
